My Queen's Fate
The first collection presented is the Ready to Wear collection. Inspired by the idea of fate and that not everything can be controlled, a concept the designer has had to deal with a lot, the actual design of the clothing won't be complete till it hits the runway. The collection is black and white but as the models walk the runway, paint will be shot at the clothing so that the end design will be left to fate. With nine designs ranging from cocktail dresses, to modern tops and pants, to long evening gowns, this knit collection is a unique garment to each buyer.
The Carter Collection
The hardest relationship loss is not of a lover, but of a best friend. When the designer had a falling out with his best friend of seven years, he took it out on the sketches of these pieces and it became a beautifully dark collection indeed. Coming from a dark time in the designer's life the collection is eight pieces in red and black. All designs cover from head to toe with the idea that beauty is not grasped by showing skin. Being the Avant Garde collection each garment will walk the runway with a hat made of chicken wire.
The Haute Couture Collection was built to bring a frozen lake mountainscape to the Houston world. Keeping it in the color pallet of white, grey, and blue it truly is a cold collection. The collection has a flow to it comparable to the fog gliding over a lake on an early winter morning. These nine designs range from a cute cocktail dress, to a pant and cape, to giant 36 yard gowns! This collection features the dress that won first place at the MFAH Fashion Fusion event. It is with great excitement that we bring months of hard work to the runway.
