Fashion is art, and art is personal. For this season the designer is reaching into his personal daddy issues and turning those tears into fashion. With a lack of affection from his father the designer is bringing the collection close to his heart and will let his tears stain the fabric. This is a ready to wear collection of white clothing hand painted on the bottom of the garments to give a purple ombré finish. Tops will start fully covered and will gradually reveal more as the designer gives us an inside feel into the childhood he grew up with.
Beg For Sugar
With a Sugar Daddy type of relationship it's never really clear who is begging for sugar. Is it the sugar baby needing the money, or the sugar daddy needing the love? In society women aren't taught to speak out so in this collection we explore the concept of independent women who understand society's incapability to listen to women's minds and only view their bodies. We will see women who knew how to use this to their advantage and get ahead. What will these women wear? Alantude's "Beg For Sugar" collection.
Take The Beating
What defines masculinity? A conversation we are starting to have this decadeand resonates with the designer deeply. Constantly growing up with phrases like "boys don't cry" and "take it like a man," this collection takes us back to archaic rituals of masculinity. Boxing; a sport of spectators watching two men fight physically to show power over the other. With inspiration of this sport comes the haute couture collection "Take the Beating."
