Sarah has quickly become one of my closest friends. I had one week to make both of her wedding gowns. Thankfully she trusted me fully and we ran with her design to make magic happen that week. She had a star wars themed wedding and these were exactly what Sarah's personality represents in both a sophisticated ceremony gown and her fun party dress. Cheers to the happy couple!

Clara and I both went to HSPVA. But it was during our summer jobs that we really bonded. Making her a comfortable dress for prom was so much fun. A knit top with thin straps in the back made it "athletic chic." And the full skirt over a pair of fitted cigarette pants was everything we wanted to bring Clara's prom to the modern age. A gold and black brocade was the main accent throughout, and was just enough to add that detail of sophistication.

Anaid had her wedding in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and got an Alantude original for her callejonada. She wanted something fun, comfortable, breezy, and full of attitude. So of course she came to the right place. The top is a cotton crop top with white fringe beading. The bottom is a tulle skirt with a built in crinoline.

Courtney was not about to get married in a typical white wedding dress so she came to Alantude for her unique gown. With a classic silhoutte in mind, we found this gorgeous blue taffeta and a black lace for the accent and got to work. The true work in this one is all on the inside. The overskirt is removable to give Courtney a more fitted look and ease of movement.

Shaun wore her mother's wedding dress for the ceremony and wanted something less traditional for the ceremony. That's where Alantude came in. We made her a red gown that was tea length short and the skirt had enough flow to twirl for days. The lace is along the whole hem and a one of kind design was created on the back with that lace. All bridesmaids were also in custom Alantude.

I've known Perla Flores since we were little kids. Making her prom dress was a must then. The challenge in her dress was that she wanted all black. To create a unique design on an all black dress I used three different fabrics. Stretch Taffeta was used on the top and bottom skirt, lace on the straps and lower bands of both skirts, and chiffon on the over skirt. To give the dress dimension there is a chiffon over skirt with a side slit to show a skirt underneath.

A truly personal experience. This dress was designed for my best friend Hannah Griffith’s prom. After sketching the design on a whataburger napkin, to see it come to life was very exciting. The paneling to the dress is what makes it so elegant and flattering. The back has a train of the black and gold and a panel which gives the dress those alantude wings. The clutch was also specially made for the occasion.
